Spring time – Pastel time

The clock show almost Spring time and we all have to owner this beautiful season where all the flowers blossom and we all start feeling a bit lighter and start thinking about the summer that is due to come.

This spring, fashion demands colours and particularly pastel colours, giving that fresh and young feel to whoever wears them. Pastels are full of that young innocence that everyone of us can pull off once in a while

Estee Lauder and Essie have some lovely pastel palates for you nails this spring. Pair these up with stylish accessories and high open sandals and you are ready for these season, you will definitely wont go unnoticed.

Bring the sunshine back

It has benn so miserable these past few days! I really can’t remember when was the last time I saw the sun! I feel like my hole body and soul are lacking vitamin D. No motivation or energy… Sun please shine on us. No more rain!

Just to boost my morale and turn against this horrible and grey weather I went for a deep sea blue to remind me of my favourite summer sea.

As you see even if you decide to do one colour to your nails you still need all these little bottles. You just have to do it right!

Here I have used Seventeen 492, one of my favourite colours especially when the calendar shows spring. This colour is one source of sunshine and will be putting a smile one my face!
All we need now is to accessorise those little fingers and we are ready for the sun and spring!

Let it be spring soon so I don’t have to wear my gloves and get to show off all this colour!

It’s all about the basics – nails

I never got a chance to wish to you all lovely ladies Happy woman’s day yesterday. A horrible migraine has left me idle for a day and a half now and I am only just starting to feel normal again.

I just wanted to share with all of you my new nail varnish additions! Maybeline had a great offer 3 for 2 and I got to refresh my basic nail varnish colours. Red, dark blue and jet black! I consider these colours the little black dress for your nails. Always in fashion, always elegant and you can never get it wrong in whatever occasion you will need to go.

A perfect manicure can only be perfect with the nail colour dryer by Sally Hansen, Dry Kwik, and i have to say that is really quick when in a rush.

Oh! That Friday feeling

…and it’s Friday again, start of all the good and “bad” that are going to happen in the next few hours of our weekend!

How do I celebrate the start of my weekend and the end of the working week? … well it depends… This time it’s all about spending some time with my self. So well deserved.

Have a happy Friday night and don’t forget to spend some time on yourself! You all deserve it.

Valentine’s Nails

Happy Valentine’s day to everyone!

I hope you had all had a lovely and romantic day and a beautiful candle light dinner with your beloved one, sharing lots of chocolates and wine.

Here are my Valentine’s nails for today, easy to do and a bit different.

How to do it:

1. Before you start apply a cover of a base coat. Make sure the coat is dry and only then take a sticky tape and cut small equal pieces so you can wrap them around your nails.

2. Choose where you want to place the sticky tape, I decided to have red tips so I had to place it accordingly.

3. Take the nail varnish of your choice – I chose red and paint the free part of the nail. You can be as sloppy as you want as the sticky tape will work as a safe guide.

4. Allow more time than usual for the nail varnish to dry and then remove the nail varnish with care and your very neat red tip will be revealed. Apply your top coat and let it dry. You could leave it as it is or you could play a bit more like I did.

5. I chose to put a bit of glitter on it just to sparkle it up a bit, and here is the end result!
